The winter maps and guides are especially designed for those practising and keen on winter sports: ski mountaineering, snowshoes and ice climbing. The map-guides are presented at a scale of 1:25 000 on unbreakable waterproof paper, designed to be used on the ground in adverse weather conditions.

The guide contains the geographical characteristics of the territory, communications, advide and comments on the routes - the best time of the year to do them, the difficulties they present, the material and equipment recommended to do them with; the conditions of safety and risk; a complete description of ski mountaineering and snow-show rputes; downhill and cross-country (Nordic) ski-stations, and the ide and snow corridors. It also contains a list of accommodarion, and useful addresses and telephone numbers.
